Expansion for The Witcher Game: Old World - On the Trail of Monsters (Polish edition)

$69.30

The Witcher crouched, noticing a fresh trail in the undergrowth. His intuition did not deceive him. A fiend. Quite large. He reached for his belt to make sure that the firecracker called Devil's Puffball was in its place. Then he took a small vial from his bag and uncorked it. With practiced precision, he applied a special oil to the blade. In a fight with a beast that can kill a rider along with his horse with a single paw strike, all tricks are allowed.

The Witcher: Old World - On the Trail of Monsters is an expansion introducing several new game variants, which can be used separately or simultaneously. Players will have the opportunity to embody a Witcher from the Manticore School with a unique ability – tolerance to elixirs. 40 advanced action cards will provide interesting effects and allow for even more powerful combinations. Witcher arsenals will also include cards of firecrackers and mutagens, which will help gain an advantage in monster hunting. This is a valuable bonus, especially since with this expansion we can equip monsters with special attacks and weaknesses.
What is The Witcher: Old World?
It is an adventure board game that takes players on a journey through a fantastic world full of dangers, secret magic, dark secrets, and extraordinary places just waiting to be discovered. The game’s action takes place in the beloved Witcher universe, many years before the events of the saga about Geralt of Rivia, in times when a plague of monsters ravaged the Continent. Only Witchers – professional killers trained to fight creatures hostile to humans – were able to counter it.
