Return to the classic D&D Adventure System gameplay, enriched with exciting new features! You will once again embody a D&D hero with unique skills and abilities, playing solo or in a team of up to 5 adventurers. You will face many scenarios connected into one campaign, developing and leveling up your character along the way. You will explore treacherous dungeons, avoid deadly traps, and confront terrifying monsters. Each scenario can also be played independently as a separate adventure!

Ghosts of Saltmarsh contains 8 new, highly detailed Sahuagin miniatures, including two powerful new antagonists. These miniatures complement the figures from owned Adventure System games, and the included tokens are used to represent missing monsters.

In addition to classic exploration adventures known to fans of the series — where map tiles are gradually revealed — you will also find scenarios taking place directly in the city of Saltmarsh. These missions use a set map composed of 6 double tiles, and your task is to protect the inhabitants from monsters pursuing their own dark goals. This is a completely new and exciting game mode — without exploration, but with a new Adventure deck that provides challenges and surprises standing in the Heroes' way to victory.
