Everdell (Polish edition)

In the charming valley of Everdell, beneath the branches of tall trees, among moss-covered boulders, a civilization of forest creatures is developing. Many years have passed since its beginnings, and finally, the time has come to discover new territories and establish entirely new cities. When you sit down to play, you will take on the role of a leader of a group of creatures setting out to conquer the unknown. You will need to build many buildings, get to know new creatures, and let yourself be carried away by upcoming events. It will be a busy year!
Everdell is a dynamic game based on the worker placement mechanic. It captivates with beautiful execution and offers many paths to victory, making its exploration a true pleasure.

How does it work?
On your turn, a player can perform one of three actions:
Assign a worker. Each player has their own pool of workers, which they can place on boards, events, and goal cards. Properly assigned workers perform various activities that support the development of our strategy, such as acquiring resources or enabling card draws. Play a card. Each player builds and develops their own city. Playing cards generates various resources, opens new possibilities, and ultimately allows for scoring points. Thanks to the mutual influence of cards on each other, each player has the chance to implement an original and individual strategy. Prepare for the next season. As part of this action, workers return to the player's resources, and it is also possible to draw another helper.

Why will you love this game?
Everdell is a game of many possibilities that changes with each playthrough: only a small part of the components is used in a single game, and variable board layouts guarantee gradual discovery of diverse strategies. The visual aspect is very important in the game. The playing field resembles a tree trunk, carefully designed resource tokens, and graphics full of charming animals in various configurations and imaginative depictions. Who doesn't love charming animals? :) However, let no one be fooled by the sweet theme
Everdell involves quite a bit of strategizing, and the game is aimed more at adults and older children than at little ones. It is a multidimensional game where different factors influencing the final result must be integrated.
