Frostpunk: Board game

Welcome to a post-apocalyptic world where the fate of the last survivors lies in your hands! Will you treat the inhabitants of your colony as just an ordinary resource? Will you follow the path of inspiring architects, fearless explorers, or brilliant scientists? Will your rule go down in history as a time of hellish tyranny or an era of law and equality?
Frostpunk is a strategic board game in which one to four players take on the roles of leaders of the last colony of survivors in a post-apocalyptic, icebound world. Our role is to manage both the infrastructure of the last city and its inhabitants, constantly navigating between the prospect of an icy doom and rebellion. Our citizens are not just silent pawns on the board: they will make demands and react according to prevailing moods. The actions and decisions of the players will have significant consequences for the gameplay, creating a unique, mature story each time.
WARNING! This version of the game contains all the goals unlocked during the Kickstarter campaign.

What is it about?

The game is played in rounds representing consecutive days. If you manage to survive until the end of the 12th round - you win! However, in each game, a different goal awaits you, determined by scenario cards that modify both the conditions of victory and defeat. This means that each game is subordinated to a scenario that affects both the narrative layer and the mechanics.

In each round, traps await you in the form of random event cards containing situations to consider and claims from the colony's inhabitants. Every decision you make will affect social moods, and through a special dusk deck, the consequences of earlier actions will catch up with you. Practically from every side, traps await you, and only skillful, long-term planning will allow you to prepare for the upcoming difficulties.
Why will you love this game?

It is a multidimensional, elaborate board game set in a brutal world of morally ambiguous decisions. Each game presents participants with difficult choices, each of which will have significant consequences on one side or the other.
