Strain your mind and try your hand at a game that will develop various functions of your brain. Take on 8 different tests checking reasoning, memory, and speed. Prepare for tasks requiring spatial thinking, memorization, analysis, logic, and even… recognizing shapes solely by touch! Cortex Harry Potter is a real treat for young and old wizards who want to try their hand at solving puzzles. In each round, a card with a task appears on the table. The one who solves it first must cover it with their hand and loudly give the answer. Among the challenges, you will find a race for the golden snitch, a duel of spells, or searching for secret passages on the Marauders' map!

How does it work?

  • The youngest player turns over the top card from the deck, placing it so that everyone can read its content.
  • When a player thinks they can solve the task, they immediately cover the card with their hand and shout out the answer!
  • When they take their hand away, you check if they were right, and if so - they receive that (covered) card in front of them. If a player collects 2 cards with the same back, they exchange them for one of the 4 puzzle pieces.
  • If they were wrong, shuffle the card back into the deck and start the next round. The player who just made a mistake cannot give answers during the next turn!

Eight types of thematic tasks!

  • Secret passages. Follow Harry from door to door and point to the object he will reach at the very end.
  • Race for the golden snitch. Look at 3 pairs of competitors and judge which wizard will win.
  • Unique patronus. Cover the card with your hand and say which of the patronuses appeared only once.
  • Magical chaos. Point to the color of the most frequently occurring aura.
  • Spell duel. Cast a spell using the index finger of the appropriate hand (the clue is the color of the aura on the card).
  • Hogwarts houses. Point to the emblem of one of the houses that does not match the others.
  • Magic circle. Memorize the symbols on the back of the card, then say which one was added or removed on the other side.
  • Challenge. This is a special task! The player must close their eyes and relying solely on the sense of touch recognize the texture of one of the special cards.
