Board Game Dark Amulet: Role-Playing Game

Dark Amulet is a narrative card game for 1-12 players, in which to return to our world, you must defeat the Living Curse. The problem is that you are just ordinary people.
We cut a thick RPG manual into hundreds of cards so you can play a session like a party game. While in other RPGs you would be finishing character creation, here you will be in the middle of the second adventure!
No Preparation. No Experience. No Game Master.
  • Dark Amulet is a narrative game lasting an hour for 1–12 players, in which to return to our world, you must defeat the Living Curse. The problem is, you are just ordinary people. In Dark Amulet, each of you takes on the role of a Character card. The game lasts 10 turns. On your turn, you become the Trustee of the Amulet and will place obstacles using Problem cards, while the other players will overcome them using Solution cards.
  • No preparation. Start playing right after opening the box. A short step-by-step instruction will explain what to do so you can start playing practically as soon as the game reaches your table.
  • No experience needed. It doesn’t matter if you have never participated in an RPG session. Can you read and speak? Perfect! Shuffle, deal the cards, and start the first turn!
  • No game master. Many RPGs require someone who not only learns the rules but also prepares a scenario to present to other players during the session. Here, all of you are players.
The World of Veiran
Dark Amulet has summoned you from our world to defeat the Living Curses devouring the magical world of Veiran. In this land, you will explore a city built in the skeleton of a monster slain centuries ago, visit a vampire lair in a plane wreck, and meet storm riders traveling the skies. You will discover the true face of Veiran by traversing these lands and getting to know its inhabitants.
Both in cities and in the wilderness, you will find Living Curses. These will be people, places, or objects twisted by dark magic. Each of them has its own will and motivations that can be understood, but their actions destroy this world and must be stopped at all costs.
You are not helpless. Your former skills gain a new dimension here. The librarian will convince bandits that you are heroes from their legends. The gardener will restore the Palace of Flowers to life. The clerk will write a pact ending the war between countries. Violence is not necessary if you are clever enough.
Modules
The basic rules have been specially designed to be accessible for beginners. However, you can expand the game with additional modules.
Using the “Roll for it” rule will allow you to check if a Solution really succeeded, and thanks to the “Challenges” module, you can make the game harder once you have mastered the basic rules.
