What is it about?

  • The gameplay in Time's Up! consists of 3 rounds, during which we use the same set of cards with prompts:
  • Free description. Teams have the task of guessing as many prompts presented by a member of their team as possible. They can talk about the prompt in any way (of course except saying directly what it is about), and the other players have an unlimited number of attempts to guess the prompt.
  • One word. This time a team member can give only one word association that will lead the team to the correct prompt. The group has one attempt to guess!
  • Pantomime. To present the drawn prompt, the team member cannot use words. Only gestures and sounds are allowed.
  • Because in all 3 rounds we use the same pool of cards, we must not only guess the prompts but also remember the key associations we and the other players had with them.

  • 220 cards, each with 2 prompts related to the world of Harry Potter. Such a pool is enough for many games (especially since during a single game we use about 40 prompts).
  • During the fun with Time's Up! there is no time for boredom or downtime. Each of us must observe the opponents' actions because in the next round we may get the same cards.
  • Because the game is based on associations, it provides excellent fun and many bursts of uncontrollable laughter.
  • A practical hourglass measures the time and there is no room for mistakes.
