Another century has passed, after which witches and wizards gather again at the magical Witch's Rock to renew the network of energy it produces and strengthen their own position in the wizarding world. This time the gathering takes place during the full moon, whose light makes the powers of the archmasters even stronger…
Witch Rock: Full Moon Time is an expansion introducing several elements that you can freely combine to enrich the base game. It includes archmasters towers, and two modules: hidden full moon powers and enhanced ingredients, i.e. new, stronger action tiles.
What does the expansion introduce?
- Archmasters, who replace the large witch figures from the base game. Large witches can be removed or accepted with a new special rule described in the instructions for their use.
- The enhanced ingredients module, which symbolizes the increasing proficiency of mages. It contains 6 power tiles with identical symbols, facilitating the creation of clusters. They can only be acquired in a few specific places on the board.
- The full moon magic module, within which new animal companions will allow us to gain access to hidden powers and unique abilities.
What is Witch Rock?
It is a strategic board game in which we take on the roles of learned guild masters gathered around an ancient sacred stone. Each of us has our own set of action tiles – on our turn, we choose one of them and place it in the cauldron at our discretion, so as to cover 2 empty spaces. Then we perform actions related to the played symbols: building an energy network on the crystal ball, moving our witches, or gathering spells and various bonuses. Many important decisions await the participants. From which tile to choose, through which symbols we want to group together, to the order of actions performed – everything depends on the player and the tactics they adopt, and every move will matter.
