Okay, there was one such Staszek, a village fool, who found us and threw himself into battle with rakes. He accused us of casting a spell on his cows. We turned him back to the village and he never showed up again. And so I sit by the gates, right by the white bridge, listening to the sound of water and the whispers of prayers. And so for thirty years, you can go crazy. I am like an NPC selling heroes a story about our deities. You would want something more. Once I tried to change something. I gathered my savings into a pouch, took a certain artifact from the village - the eye of a green ent enclosed in a die - giving luck in travel.
