A great reptile nested in the dwarven mines, driving out all the inhabitants. Pale fear fell upon the people by the lake. What will happen to them when the dragon's wrath turns towards them? Will the entire village vanish in the blink of an eye? The cunning mayor exploited human fear to enrich himself with gold originally intended for defense. He squeezed the last penny, imposed tariffs, and stifled resistance in its infancy. One day, many years after the dwarves were expelled, a strange team appeared within the settlement, led by a halfling. They made a lot of noise and disappeared into the heart of the mine. Shortly thereafter, the dragon appeared in the sky after years. It headed towards the village - a fiery annihilation of humanity. However, a skilled archer lived in the settlement, called Bard. He climbed onto the battlements and nocked an arrow. A passing bird perched on his shoulder and whispered the dragon's secret overheard during a conversation between the reptile and the halfling. The monster lost one of its scales near the heart while lying on the gold. Bard shot and hit the soft tissue, knocking the dragon down.
