There was an inn in our land that was not marked on the map. Only good souls invited by the innkeeper knew it. It was hidden in a hard-to-reach place, far from the road and the prying eyes of onlookers. I do not know how the deliveries of delicious and fresh ingredients for food and rich in flavor, juicy drinks were made. It was called the Tavern at the End of the World and was the most wonderful place on earth. I dined there, eating beef stews, the most wonderful stuffed cabbage rolls, and red borscht. I drank aromatic wine from glass goblets and rich, sticky honey from a horn. This honey was exquisite, unlike lury or champagnes from the east, but true in its immense and thick sweetness. The owner brought the most distinguished minstrels, bards, and troubadours of our land, who brightened the evenings with their singing, music, and stories. You could also cuddle in a warm and comfortable bed with courtesans – masters in their craft. Sounds too beautiful? Perhaps, but all regulars praised the establishment. And I was there too. I drank honey and milk.
