After the war, which no one officially declared, the world became a place where even pigeons wore gas masks, and the grass glowed at night without the help of lamps. Among the ruins of the old town stood he – Borysek Niewybusek. He was neither a hero nor a mutant, just an ordinary guy with a cup of instant coffee and a Geiger counter in his pocket. Every day he walked through the rubble, complaining that the apocalypse destroyed his favorite milk bar, and the new civilization – those damn impractical cans without openers.

One morning Borysek discovered something strange: a huge, dusty shell stuck in the ground like a metal monument to human stupidity. Instead of running away, he sat down next to it and said: "So, old man, you don’t want to explode either?" From then on, "Niewybuch" was his best buddy. Together they drank rainwater, played chess with stones, and at night debated whether the world had ended or just delayed in development. Borys said it was beautiful – after all, even a bomb can sometimes refrain from exploding. And here is the best lesson of stoicism.
