Dukaan had a little shop where he sold things that no one else even wanted to touch: rusty amulets, instructions in a language that no one spoke anymore, and dice with numbers that knew the history of a handful of unlucky people. When someone asked where it all came from, Dukaan would respond with a smile and tap his forehead: "bad luck is an art, and I am its curator." People came not to buy — they came for stories. They ordered dice and received anecdotes: about a knight who forgot his horse. About a witch who mixed up potions and instead of love caused a rain of flip-flops. About a dragon priest who turned out to be a disgrace to the entire order.

Dukaan also offered a service of packaging destiny as a gift; he wrapped it in paper with the inscription "do not unwrap during a storm" (probably lightning does not like tempting fate) and added a note: "if it breaks, returns only with a receipt." Yes, Dukaan was a shameful magical seller who did not issue receipts. Unlike us. That is why now we sell a set of dice in his honor.
