Welcome to Avel: a world whose sky holds dozens of moons day and night. These magical celestial bodies
allegedly inhabited by gods
send magical gifts to the inhabitants. Thanks to them, wizards weave magic, druids help farmers take care of crops, and children can play in the aerial streams. However, there is no time for that now, because Kurodar, the Black Moon, has approached Avel, and its sinister magic has awakened the forces of evil. In forests, caves, and other dark places, dangerous creatures have always lurked, but now they have emerged en masse, and their hateful gaze is focused on the castle. It depends on you whether the land can be saved from their destructive urges!
Chronicles of Avel Castle is a cooperative board game for the whole family, in which we take on the roles of heroes responsible for saving the magical land. During the game, we will create our own characters with unique names and special equipment, and then explore the world by moving on a modular board. On the journey, we will encounter many dangers that must be fought, and each victory will bring a specific reward: new weapons, armor, elixirs, and gold. The gathered goods will allow us to prepare for the final battle with the Monster threatening the kingdom of Avel.


How does it work?
Each game in Avel begins with creating your own character. You can color and decorate a universal hero illustration as you wish. Don’t forget to create its unique coat of arms and choose the most heroic of heroic names! And when all participants are ready, you can start the fun.


The goal of the game is to discover more corners of the land, fight monsters, and develop your character to best prepare for the ultimate battle with the Monster, which will appear after a certain number of rounds. Avel is a cooperative game, which means all participants work together as a team, and the success of one of you is the success of the whole group.

The game itself consists of rounds during which participants take their turns. During an action, you can move on the board, use special actions of visited places, rest, or fight monsters by rolling dice and using your equipment. In this way, you gain new items that will be helpful in future challenges. Every action taken matters for the situation of the whole team and will influence the implementation of the strategy you choose.

After a certain number of rounds, the Monster appears in the game. From that moment on, your main goal is to defeat it and its kin before they reach the castle.
