The game was created in India, spread in Persia, from where it moved to Sicily. It was then that the rules were modified and most resembled the modern ones. The popularity of chess exploded during the Renaissance in Spain and Italy. From there it began its expansion into Europe. Everyone played. The ruler, knight, bishop, monk, lord of the manor, and farmhand. Even your grandmother, mother, sister, and lover. At the end of the 19th century, the first international chess tournament was held, won by Adolf. Not that one. Then Netflix created a chess series with Anya Taylor-Joy and it all started. An unexpected and worldwide chess boom. Suddenly everyone was learning to play. And you? Still in the amateur league? Arm yourself with patience. And with our tasteful set. No, it won't help you win, but at least you will lose on a beautiful board, losing aesthetic pieces.
