Here is Alien: Role-playing game - a universe of pervasive horror and corporate games, where synthetic humans play God, and spaceship crews and colonial infantry soldiers become hosts for terrifying creatures. It is a brutal and merciless universe in which you were born doomed.

This beautifully illustrated, colorful hardcover manual contains both a description of the Alien world in 2183 and a set of intuitive rules designed to preserve the Alien atmosphere. Gameplay can take place in two different modes:

The cinematic mode is based on ready-made scenarios that refer to the plot full of twists and turns of the films from the Alien series. Developed for one intense session, this mode emphasizes risky, fast, and brutal play. The chance that everyone will survive is minimal. The core manual contains one introductory cinematic scenario titled The Last Day of Hope.

The campaign mode was created for longer games involving the same groups of player characters during many consecutive sessions. It allows you to explore the Alien world without any limitations. The core manual includes random tables and other extensive tools that enable quick creation of planetary systems, colonies, missions, encounters, and non-player characters, ideal for your campaigns.

The game rules are based on the highly acclaimed Year Zero Engine, used in many award-winning games such as Tales from the Loop, Forbidden Lands, and Mutant: Year Zero. However, it has been adapted and developed to meet the requirements and themes of Alien: horror and dynamic action taking place in the cold and dark outer space.
