  • MACHINES, OUR FRIENDS: In the opening Secrets of this manual, Kids will experience firsthand the troubles that poorly designed toys can cause. AI on the loose, intelligent toy robots, possessed people... and suddenly the game becomes something extremely dangerous.
  • CONFUSION WITH HORRORS: The 80s were a time of moral panic. Horror movies, metal music, and role-playing games were targeted by adults. Unexpectedly, the local video cassette rental becomes a center of intergenerational conflict. When strange events occur, the Kids must discover what the Parents and Teachers Council is plotting.
  • MUMMY IN THE FOG: The school is buzzing with rumors. Apparently, a mummy was seen again by the lake. The creature is searching for something. It is hungry. Only the Kids can unravel these Secrets!
  • COMPILATION OF SECRETS: Eight classic tracks. Eight short Secrets. A compilation of secrets. Just press play!
  • DESCRIPTIONS OF MACHINES: Three advanced robots, two powerful magnetite ships. This chapter presents designs of the most recognizable machines of the Loop era, information about them, and ideas for adventures involving them.
  • THIS IS YOUR TOWN: Although the islands on Lake Melar, in Boulder City and Rembertow are fascinating places, the actions of Secrets of the Loop can also be set in areas well known to you. This chapter shows how to create your own game area, using as an example completely new settings: the Norfolk Broads located in England.

The game was awarded in 2017 with prestigious golden ENnie Awards in five categories:

  • Best Game
  • Best Setting
  • Best Graphic Design
