This world is truly grim and dangerous. The vile ratmen plot and conspire. Hordes of Chaos are approaching from the north. A friendly neighbor may turn out to be a disgusting mutant, and witch hunters roam the country, burning anyone suspected of being a servant of the Destructive Powers at the stake. In the face of widespread horror and suffering, mortals have only one choice – to place themselves under the protection of the gods. However, despite their great power, these divine beings are not unwavering defenders of morality. They are more incomprehensible and inexplicable forces, sometimes as dangerous as the creatures from which mortals seek protection. The gods must be appeased, bribed with gifts, and repeatedly honored to win their attention and favor. The Book of Salvation details the religions of the Empire, the role of faith in the existence of this great nation, as well as the functions it serves in a complex society. This extensive supplement includes:
  • A detailed history of religion in the Empire, filled with fascinating details that can serve as seeds for adventures.
  • A complete description of the cult of each deity, including its structure, commandments, the most important dignitaries, and more.
