Call of Cthulhu Handbook: Pulp Cthulhu

Pulp Cthulhu is a game full of daring adventures, dark intrigues, and brave Heroes. Thanks to this book, a few dice, and the Keeper's Book for Call of Cthulhu, you have everything needed to start an adventure and delve into pulp genre games.

Are you tired of your Investigators dropping like flies while making desperate attempts to save humanity worldwide? Would you like your Investigators to face monsters head-on instead of hiding in corners and waiting for them to leave? Pulp Cthulhu raises the stakes and gives you tougher, more agile Heroes – those who can confront the sinister machinations of the Cthulhu myths!
In the pages of this handbook you will find:

  • A modified character creation system, rules concerning parapsychic powers, sanity, superhuman skills, and mad science.
  • Tips for Keepers of Secrets to create and run pulp sessions.
  • An explanation of what “pulp” is and how it fits into the image of America in the grip of the Great Depression of the 1930s and on the eve of World War II.
  • A collection of colorful villains and monsters, as well as mysterious organizations.
  • Four action-packed scenarios to start the fun with a bang.
  • A chapter created especially for this edition dedicated to Poland in the 1930s, allowing you to move the action to the Vistula River cities and villages.
  • Several new illustrations prepared by Jakub Fatjanowski and Rafał Szłapa!
  • The tips contained in this handbook facilitate playing pulp adventures in any settings and eras. This allows Keepers to add color to events in the 1920s, in contemporary times, or in any other era.

It is the time of Heroes and great adventure!
