Welcome to the Starter for the 7th edition of Call of Cthulhu! It contains a set of basic rules needed to start an adventure with role-playing games. One of the players takes on the role of the Keeper of Secrets, the narrator telling the story, who also plays the characters encountered by the players. The rest of the participants are Investigators of Secrets, heroes by chance solving mysteries, who try to stop dark forces from taking control over our world. The Starter includes an adventure for beginner Keepers and Investigators titled The Haunted House.
