Expand your empire by erecting new buildings in nine city districts – create extensive trade networks and gain prestige throughout Baldur’s Gate. To succeed, you must also gain the favor of the city’s three most important factions: the Council of Four, the Burning Fist, and the Thieves’ Guild.
Place buildings and influence tokens to mark your dominion over successive areas. The game also includes miniature fortresses, gates, and watchtowers with special slots for influence tokens – thanks to them, the city grows in three dimensions, literally before your eyes!
But remember – Baldur’s Gate is not only a city of wealth but also of danger. Hordes of monsters regularly attack the walls or arrive from the port side, forcing houses into temporary alliances to repel the invasion. Clever players can, however, turn these crises into opportunities to gain even greater power.
