One hundred pages of the recent history of the dryad forest is an interesting read for researchers from the academy - biologists, ethnologists, and geographers. How did it fall into human hands? By accident, naivety, and violence. As is usually the case with humans and their expansion in many fields. The knowledge was obtained from the diary of the dryad Mykonos. A naive and young being wanted to learn about the human world, so she set out from the forest to the human village. Soon she realized her mistake.

The dryad dressed in trousers found by the water and wanted to hire herself as a hunter and weaver in the village, as she possessed such skills. She fell in love with the miller’s son, and since male company was foreign to her, everything was new, innocent, and naive. She was overwhelmed with feelings like a narcotic dream, cherishing every moment in the peaceful village. She wrote down memories in a diary, in which she also mentioned life in the forest, comparing the two. The idyll was interrupted by ordinary human envy, fear of the other. It is unknown whether it was done by the miller’s daughter, the village elder, or the old lecherous sheriff. The dryad was killed, and her diary was handed over to the guard.
