Cthulhu Mythos - Yig Metal Coins (4 cm)

$0.39

Made of zinc alloys wonderful, heavy coins that we extracted from a forgotten treasury.

And the great god of darkness, Set, who was a great serpent, summoned his servants. And he did it like this. He took the form of a man with reptilian eyes and at night sneaked into places of human entertainment to copulate with women. Children conceived during the serpent's lust were born with strange mutations. They were hybrids of man and reptile. Some had only serpent eyes and tongue or skin, others had viper heads and hands like lizards. Moreover, the bastard offspring of Set could communicate with each other by hissing and the smell of body secretions. The god of thieves, murderers, and liars ordered his sons and daughters to wander throughout Hyperborea and settle in the largest cities. There they were to grow in strength and take power over important centers from the shadows. The symbol of their power are temples built in the middle of cities and metropolises. Majestic Ziggurats, where feasts, orgies, ritual murders, and brainwashing funded by the acolytes of the serpent sect take place. As soon as you notice these buildings on the street, quickly move away in the opposite direction. Otherwise, you might end up as a snack for an anaconda, and only one trace will remain on your body – the coins taken from your purse.

They have virtually unlimited applications - they work as realistic tokens in board games such as Caylus, Tainted Grail, or Hansa Teutonica. They are also an atmospheric addition to RPG sessions and an indispensable element of LARPs!

Metal coins are quite heavy. The weight of the tokens is an additional factor building realism during the game.

Coin dimensions:

  • diameter 4 cm

These zinc coins have been coated with a thick layer of nickel (silver), brass (gold), and copper (coppers). The coatings are oxidized, making them look as if they have been used for years.
