Ticket to Ride: Europe

From the steep hills of Edinburgh to the sunny shores of Istanbul, from the stuffy alleys of Pamplona to windy Berlin - Ticket to Ride: Europe will take you on a great journey through the great cities of the Old Continent at the dawn of the last century. Will you dare to cross the dark tunnels of Switzerland? Will you board a ferry crossing the Black Sea? Will you raise proud stations in the capitals of empires? The next move may make you the greatest railway magnate in Europe! Pack your suitcases, call the porter, and get on the train! Ticket to Ride: Europe is a family game about a great railway adventure. Participants collect cards representing carriages and use them to build stations, cross tunnels, board ferries, and occupy railway routes as long and wide as Europe. It is a simple and elegant board game that can be learned in 5 minutes. It will provide good fun for the whole family, regardless of age and skill level of the participants.

How does it work?
At the beginning of the game, participants receive ticket cards that serve as goals to be achieved. They contain the names of cities that must be connected by an uninterrupted railway route. To do this, players will draw colorful carriage cards and then play them in sets corresponding to the colors of the selected sections on the map. Individual sections are occupied by placing plastic carriage figurines on them.
To win, we will have to demonstrate tactical thinking that will allow us to occupy strategic places on the board to achieve our goals as quickly as possible.

Why will you love this game?

It is a great option for people who are just starting their fun with board games. The number of rules to learn at the beginning is small, and with each subsequent game, our plays become more interesting. Thanks to the combination of an accessible manual with a neutral theme, Ticket to Ride is an ideal family game. Compared to Ticket to Ride: USA, the version with the Europe map contains a new feature: stations. Building them allows the use of sections built by other players. In addition, on this map, we will find tunnel and ferry connections, which have special building rules.
