Guardian Decks are a set of four decks of cards that will enrich your Call of Cthulhu sessions and help every Keeper of Secrets! Each deck covers a different aspect of the game and the set includes: Mad Phobias, Weapons and Artifacts, Intriguing Characters, and Unfortunate Events. Using them along with the Keeper's Book or the Call of Cthulhu Starter Set will speed up gameplay and easily enhance the sense of wonder and horror at the table.

Mad Phobias
This deck of cards details a selection of phobias and manias, allowing every Investigator to find a cozy place in a mental institution. You can use the cards as a quick reference for players whenever their Investigators lose additional Sanity points. Additionally, this deck contains cards summarizing the side effects of insanity.

Intriguing Characters
Each card in this deck contains background story and all necessary gameplay information about intriguing characters from the world of Cthulhu myths. They can serve as ideas for ready-made Non-Player Characters, inspirations for scenarios, and if needed, even as player characters. Each card also includes a black-and-white portrait in the distinctive style of the crazy 1920s.

Weapons and Artifacts
The Weapons and Artifacts deck contains cards with a full arsenal of weapons and mystical items, allowing Investigators to delude themselves for a moment that they will survive long enough to tell their adventures. When Investigators find an item during the game, simply take out the corresponding card, and they will have all the necessary information at hand without needing to consult the rulebook.

Unfortunate Events
In this deck, you will find proposals for unexpected events that can get Investigators into serious trouble. This is an exceptionally useful tool for Keepers of Secrets writing their own scenarios. The cards in the Unfortunate Events Deck are a series of situations, scenes, and plot twists that can be introduced randomly during sessions, secretly given to players at the table, and, of course, used to start entirely new stories in the world of Cthulhu myths.
