Board Game Harry Potter: A Year at Hogwarts

What is it about?

• In the "Year at Hogwarts" mode, students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin compete for the House Cup. The player who accumulates the most points at the end of the game for completed missions, passed exams, won Quidditch matches, and conduct cards will win.
• We start our turn by rolling 2 dices. The result indicates how many spaces we can move, but the direction of movement depends on us. In this way, we will visit various spaces on the main board and additional boards, collecting valuable items and also meeting other wizards and dueling with them!
• Each participant will carry out their own secret mission cards, requiring finding specific items and visiting particular places. However, the entire board is full of activities that can bring us valuable victory points!
• The game also includes the "Voldemort Returns" variant, which gives us the chance to take on asymmetrical roles. One of the participants as Peter Pettigrew will have to collect the appropriate items and bring about the return of You-Know-Who, to then fight the final battle with Harry Potter. Meanwhile, the others will cooperate to destroy the Horcruxes scattered across the board.

• You can play alone or with other players - as competing students or as a team, embodying your favorite characters: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Luna, Neville, Draco, Ginny, and Cedric.
• In the basic game variant, you will take part in adventures taken from the Harry Potter stories. The first 10 missions refer to adventures from the first 3 books and movies, the next 10 missions recall events from the next 2 installments of the series, and the last 10 reflect the final 2 books and the last 3 movies.
• Different game variants allow you to adjust the gameplay to the players’ ages and available time, as well as focus on the favorite adventures of Harry and his friends.
• You can jointly recreate the entire story using 30 mission cards, playing Quidditch matches and playing in the "Voldemort Returns" mode. One of you will also be able to embody a Death Eater and help Lord Voldemort be reborn, while the others as a team will do their best to destroy the 7 Horcruxes.
